How can I fix scratch marks on a wooden dining table and chairs?
We loaded into the bed of the truck, and when we were trying to unload it, the surface of the table got scratched and I’d like to know how can I refinish it or fix it up to look less noticeablee. Along with that, I’d also like to fix the chairs. If you have experience on this, please let me know

Wax crayons work for a scratch. Light scratches may be cleared up with a good paste,furniture wax. If it is an All Wood table you can give it a coat of,clear, polyurethane. Do this inside with the temperature above 80degrees. Apply with a good fine bristle paint brush. When it dries it will not have any brush marks. Once a coat is completely dry you can apply another coat. You can continue doing this until it looks like a glass finish. Depending on how warm it is 24 hours should be long enough for a coat to cure. The cooler the longer. And if it is below 70 degrees it will not cure at all and stay tacky.
